Illustrations to promote
the importance of plants
for the Food and Agriculture Organization
of the United Nations
"A phenomenon called “plant blindness” means we tend to underappreciate the flora around us.
That can have disastrous consequences not only for the environment, but human health."

I developed a new illustrated definition card for social media to inform the general public
about a crucial concept that affects us all and that is strictly related to FAO work: plant blindness.
Thanks to its success, this visual became a template for a series of definition cards used by FAO
to share knowledge about its main areas of work.
As part of the same campaign I also designed an illustrations that represent the so-called "wild dozen", twelve wild species that are used for many of our products but are endangered.

I produced this visual in six different languages and three colors.
